Shanghai/Stuttgart The Porsche Engineering Forum 2025, held under the motto "Innovate to Lead, Integrate to Succeed", took place on March 19, 2025, at the Porsche Experience Center in Shanghai, drawing over 100 experts and industry leaders. The Porsche Engineering Group, a globally active, wholly Porsche-owned engineering services provider, invited local experts from automotive and other industrial sectors to a tech event organized in light of the 10th anniversary of its Chinese subsidiary. The event emphasized the crucial role of innovative engineering solutions and expertise in today’s technically heterogeneous world, showcasing how technologies can be seamlessly implemented across heterogeneous regions to meet diverse customer needs, market demands and un-harmonized regulations and requirements.

The immersive one-day event featured an in-depth exploration of the latest advancements in automotive technology. Topics included highly integrated battery solutions, advanced thermal management, automated driving systems implementation, and high-end driving perception. Leading Chinese automakers also contributed insights on the latest technological trends, offering a local perspective to the global audience.

Following the presentations, attendees were invited to participate in a dynamic driving experience to see firsthand how these innovations are translated into real-world technology.

Uwe Pichler-Necek, CEO of Porsche Engineering China, emphasized the immense potential of the Chinese market, stating, “China is not only the largest automotive market in the world but also a true epicenter of innovation. The country’s rapid advancements in electrification and intelligent connectivity are remarkable”. He also highlighted how Porsche Engineering China is leveraging global expertise to tailor solutions specifically for the Chinese market, forging strategic partnerships with local suppliers to co-create solutions that both serve China and inspire global industry transformation.

The Forum provided an exclusive platform for industry leaders to explore the future of mobility. It further underlined Porsche Engineering’s readiness to develop and integrate innovative technical solutions to the most immediate and heterogenous challenges facing the automotive industry today.
